STRESS, CORTISOL, MOOD, AND HEALTH

It has been estimated that 75 – 90 percent of all visits to primary care physicians are for stress related problems  

Stress and inflammation are linked to increased levels of the stress hormone cortisol, abdominal weight gain, slower wound healing, damaged immune system and more susceptibility to illness and infection, autoimmune disorders maybe even cancer.
